HydorSentry.Knowwhoisatthedoor,andwhy.

Visitor, contractor, and companion management built for a hospital, not a corporate lobby. Sentry verifies who is arriving, knows the patient they came for, and treats the family at the door like guests instead of a security line.

What it does

A hospital lobby is not one kind of visitor. It is surgery patients, family arriving for the ICU, chaplains, device representatives, contractors working in sensitive areas, couriers carrying blood and tissue, volunteers, and students on rotation. Each one carries a different mix of safety, privacy, and clinical needs. Sentry reads that difference at the door.

Sentry verifies identity from a government ID, recognizes a returning visitor, and screens against the watch lists a hospital is required to check. It knows who the visitor came to see by reading room, floor, isolation status, and visiting limits from the record under consent. It addresses the visitor in their own language from the first word.

Why hospitals need it now

Visitor control is no longer a clipboard at the front desk. The Joint Commission workplace-violence standards, California AB 2975, and patient-privacy duties under HIPAA all expect a documented, technology-supported visitor program. Most hospitals run a corporate-lobby check-in app that was never built to understand a patient. Sentry is built for the hospital first.

Built on what Hydor already runs

Sentry stands on the platform Hydor already operates. HealthID handles identity. Dr. Kai runs the lobby kiosk conversation. MyVoice serves deaf, hard-of-hearing, and limited-English visitors. THIA keeps the audit trail. The visitor program inherits the same governance and the same record posture as the rest of the platform.

The visitor never feels processed

A family arriving to sit with someone in the ICU is having one of the harder days of their life. Sentry is designed so the safety work happens quietly in the background. The person at the door is greeted, helped, and pointed to the right place, in their language, without a checkpoint feeling.

What it handles at the entrance

Four things every hospital lobby has to get right.

Identity at the door

Government ID scan, returning-visitor recognition, and the watch-list checks a hospital is required to run.

Knows who you are here to see

Room, floor, isolation status, and visiting limits read from the record under consent, so the front desk is never guessing.

Screened, quietly

The safety work runs in the background. A grieving family is greeted and helped, not put through a checkpoint.

Every language, every ability

MyVoice and Dr. Kai carry the conversation in the visitor's own language and in sign language at the kiosk.

See it work

Sentry, inside the Hydor Health platform.

One sign-in opens the shared shell. Sentry runs the lobby; Vantage clears the vendors. Here is the platform in a short overview.
