Marketplace.TheplatformeconomyinsideeverySovereignNode.

A secure marketplace for clinical applications, medical devices, and health services that meet the Hydor safety and interoperability bar. Developers, device makers, and service providers can list inside a country's Sovereign Node with that country's clinical oversight.

The platform economy thesis

Healthcare innovation does not move at the speed of any single vendor. It moves at the speed of an ecosystem. The Marketplace is the layer that lets every Hydor country open up to that ecosystem on its own terms. A local developer can build a product that runs on the national node. A device maker can list a device that integrates with the MIM family. A service provider can offer care inside the platform.

How a country gets a marketplace

A country reaches the Marketplace in phase four of the standard deployment, once the platform is at scale and the Clinical Oversight Panel is fully operational. The Panel sets the safety bar for what may list. The ministry sets the interoperability bar. The country runs the marketplace under its own governance.

Safety and interoperability bar

Nothing lists in the Marketplace without meeting two bars. The safety bar is set by THIA and the relevant Clinical Oversight Panel. The interoperability bar is set by the platform standards (HL7, FHIR, and the Hydor MIM contracts). Listings are reviewed on entry and re-reviewed on a quarterly cadence. Listings can be paused on the record by either bar.
